To promote the Corona Beach Getaway contest, Grooveshark partnered with Corona in 2011 to build DJ to Getaway by Corona Light, a platform for creating party playlists that allowed guests to add songs to via text or Twitter.
My role in the project was twofold: to design the user interface and develop the front-end for the platform. Approaching the project with progressive enhancement, the app took advantage of the increasingly powerful capabilities of newer web browsers, while still providing a usable and even enjoyable experience for users of older browsers.
