Tim Latham — Pat Dryburgh

I stumbled around the seemingly bottomless pit of mediocre websites searching in vain for an example of how I envisioned my site to look. I fortuitously found a site designed by Pat and contacted him after looking around the site for 30 seconds. We spoke briefly and he understood immediately what I was looking for and continued to work with me (patiently!) until my site was both looking and functioning as I wanted it to. He exceeded all of my expectations and was a pleasure to work with.

As my very first client when beginning my career as a freelance web designer back in 2010, no one could have been better than recording engineer Tim Latham. Tim approached me to redesign his WordPress site which at the time was, as Tim put it, “an embarrassment.”

I first developed a layout that placed more emphasis on highlighting the impressive client list Tim had accumulated to that point, that presented his educational materials that would soon be available for purchase, and to continue building his blog. Tim wanted a clean layout with a slight grunge feel, which was accomplished through the use of blending photography of live music and textures.
